Pitipana Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka located at Homagama is scheduled to reopen for academic activities from today (27).
According to Vice-Chancellor Ven. Dr. Neluwe Sumanawansa Thero the universities will be opened today only for first year students.
The administration had taken steps to close the Homagama-Pitipana Buddhist and Pali University until further notice from December 19 last year due to an incident of ragging of a freshman at the university.
