A couple quick notes from the Winter Meetings:
Charlie Morton got and extension with the Pirates. He will earn $4MM in 2014, $8MM in 2015-16 and has a $1MM buyout on a $10MM club option for the 2017 season.

The Pirates have requested the medical records for Johan Santana and are planning to meet with his agent this afternoon. This could represent another reunion for former Twin Liriano.
