HAPPY FRIDAY!!! I have been working some long hours, so I very much look forward to Fridays! Hannah has been on spring break this week and is visiting me in San Antonio! We have dinner and dancing plans and hopefully have some estate sales to pick through this weekend.
Here are a few of my favorite things this week (PS…I promise I am not getting paid for any of these!)
Birchbox!! If you love to try new products but don’t like spending a fortune and then ending up with piles of half used bottles because you didn’t love it the way you thought you would, Birchbox is for you! It is a monthly subscription for $10 with beauty and lifestyle samples. I have gotten 2 birchboxes so far and they have consisted of Smashbox mascara (love!!), 2 small bottles of nail polish, Moroccan hair oil, leave in conditioner, an all natural tea mascara, clothes deodorizer, etc. And it sure makes checking the mailbox more exciting than just finding bills
Cordless hot glue gun! My mom got this for me for Christmas this year and honestly any serious crafter should have one of these bad boys. It stays so hot and allows you to take the gun all over the room and come back to recharge every so often. I absolutely recommend this tool!
X-Acto knife and cutting mat. Another gift from my amazing mom. Who knew how handy these would become when working on my burlap wall art birthday gift for my friend Shannon, shown here. The knife and mat were also a hit at the Michael’s craft event. All the crafters passed it around, taking turns to cut out their scrapbook paper for their embellished picture frames.
