Happy Friday!! I currently have no plans for the weekend…and I am totally fine with that. I usually get the most crafting done when Brent is gone and I am lounging around.
Two weekend ago I attended my work holiday party. We had a White Elephant gift exchange with a kitchen gadget theme. I have never heard of a themed exchange but absolutely loved our theme, especially with a bunch of dietitians.
Here is my contribution to the potluck.
I brought all of the components separately and assembled them onto this rustic cutting board once I arrived. I found these chalkboard labels on toothpicks at Target and used a chalkboard pen from Michael’s to write on the cheese names. I also provided fig jam, olives, grapes, strawberries and crackers in addition to the 4 cheeses. This was definitely not a cheap appetizer….I may bring something a little less fussy for my next party and save this for when I am hosting at my own home.
For the white elephant exchange I chose very last and the two things I won were made for me!!
How cute are these reusable cheese labels! Especially considering the appetizer tray that I brought, these are perfect for me. I found them online (here) if you are interested in purchasing this set.
Second gift were these colorful wine stoppers from Corkcicle. You can find these online here.
Hope you have a relaxing weekend and a Merry Christmas!!
