Brilliant! How to Get Your Kids to Sign up for ACA – NAG ‘em

By Eowyn @DrEowyn

HealthSourceRI.com has come up with an absolutely brilliant way to get your kids to sign up for the ACA (unless you plan to keep them on your plan until they are 26): Nag them! They even have a Nag Toolkit to help you start nagging:

You can click on one of the icons (Twitter, Vine, etc.) and see a tutorial of how to sign up and nag your kids mercilessly. For instance, sign up on Twitter and tweet your kid (because talking to them obviously is too difficult). Or you can sign up on Vine and record a video “saying get health insurance”.  Or sign up on Tinder (using Facebook) and add a Facebook profile photo with a sign saying “get health insurance” (be sure to like the same things as your kid does on Facebook to be the ultimate nag).

But hey, if you can’t figure out how to use any one of these apps, Rhode Island is there to help you:

“If this all seems too confusing, give us your kid’s email address and we’ll do the nagging.”

Bloomberg would be proud: nothing like the Nanny State telling you how to run your life (and irritate your kids).
