A sweet post for all sweets lovers...Bread Gulab Jamun!!
I have been a fan of sweets always and recently I had this opportunity to taste this bread gulab jamun at a friends place.
Loved the idea of using left over sandwich bread slices to make nice dessert.
I tried this recipe twice, first time I tried making this recipe with just plain bread slices with no other ingredient, but somehow it didn't work out.
My second attempt clicked, this time I used Paneer along with slices of bread. This turned out super tasty and soft.
Try out my version of Bread Gulab Jamun and enjoy! Do let me know how it works out for you too!
- Do not add too much milk.Add milk just enough to soak the bread slices. I used around 10 tablespoons.
- Stuffing is optional. You can skip it.
- You can also fry the jamuns in oil.
- Mash the paneer and bread well to form a smooth dough,as much as possible. The dough will be slightly sticky. Do not add maida or any other flour to make the dough dry.
- I didn't trim the bread edges, but you can trim the edges and try.
