The sweetest sounds of the summer are coming from Charleston, South Carolina, where indie pop quartet Brave Baby is gearing up to release their second full-length album, Electric Friends. The lead single “Be Alright,” premiering on The Wild Honey Pie, is a sun-soaked streak of melodic psychedelia. Lead singer Keon Masters croons that “everything will be alright, be alright, be alright” over tight echoes and loose riffs. The edgy percussion cuts through the layers of harmonies and keeps the tune on track.
