Brand Focus: Maxfactor

By Hollysbeautybox @hollysbeautybox
Maxfactor has been around for a long time, and you'd think that with age, they would develop a few wrinkles and some memory loss but NO! Maxfactor have only improved with age and that's why I thought I would do a little Brand Focus post on them!
No, I'm not being paid to do this article before you all start moaning about sponsored posts ;)
Brand Focus: Maxfactor
Foundations: As a teenager, I used Maxfactor foundation and I loved the consistency of it, the finish of it and I even liked how long lasting and affordable it was but with that said, Maxfactor's foundations always seem to be too dark for my complexion. As I've moaned about on the blog before, I have extremely fair skin and so nothing darker than 'Porcelain' will do but Maxfactors palest shades are usually 'Ivory' and they are a tad too dark for me. With that said, people who do have darker skintones than I do (lucky swines!) will find their foundations to be really good - each have a different finish - some have glowy finishes, some matte and some have a different level of coverage so choosing which one is best for you is essential.
Concealer: Again, slightly too dark for me but all of the Maxfactor concealers do give excellent coverage and tend to last aaages which is great considering how affordable it is.
Primer: Oh my god. This primer just ticks all the boxes for me. The Facefinity primer which is a new release, is an absolute god send! This made my foundation last for hours on end without going oily at all. I noticed less oily patches around my nose (where oil tends to collect on my skin for some reason - LOVELY!) This is actually the best primer I've ever used and as a Beauty blogger, I'm sure you can appreciate I have tried loooads before so this is quite a big statement from me.
CC Cream: This is actually the perfect shade for me - HALLELUJAH! This glides onto your skin super easily and makes you feel all glowy and perfect - Oh yes, perfect - without completely masking your entire face. It adds a light/medium coverage and I could wear this on it's own.  It was on offer in Superdrug at £5.99 last time I checked aswell, BARGAIN.
Lipfinity Lipstick 2 in 1: This is genuinely the longest wearing lip product you will ever wear. oh em gee, I could not get it off my fricking lips without using my lip scrub!! It's called lipfinity because it lasts for ETERNITY! (I made that up, but it does feel that way!) I loved using it and I had no 'pink teeth' scenario's but I just can't wear this too often because I will have no lips left from scrubbing them so hard at the end of the day,
So that's my wee brand focus thingymejiggamy and I am going to do this more often for different brands such as Stila and Mac - send me your brand focus suggestions!
All My Love...
