Bran flake cookies you say? Why yes a bit of healthyness in something not natively healthy. Adding lots of extra fiber to these bad boys! A variation of a humingbird recipe.

40g Bran Flakes
25g Butter melted
10g Sugar
1/4 tsp salt
Hand crush the bran flakes into smaller pieces and add sugar and salt. Pour in the melted butter and stir covering all the flakes with butter.

Spread onto a baking tray and bake in the oven for about 10-12mins at 170c.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly, keep the oven on.

115g Butter (Soften)
175g Light Brown Sugar
1 Egg
200g Plain Flour
1/2 tsp Vanilla
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Salt
100g Chocolates ( I used pink pigs and chocolate coins)
Cream together the butter and sugar.

Add the chocolate and bran flakes into the batter and mix in.

Using a small scoop, dolop batter onto a baking tray.

Bake for 10-11mins at 170c and allow to cool for 2-3 mins before lifting onto a baking rack.

Enjoy these yummy slightly healthier version of chocolate chip cookies.
