The spectacular Braids (@braidsmusic), a favorite around these parts, and Purity Ring are releasing a split 7” next month, and courtesy of Pitchfork, we can already hear both the tracks! Braids takes their usual shoegaze aesthetic to new degrees of lovely on this slow-burning atmospheric song. Katie Lee’s vocals and the light electronic pumping work together to make “Peach Wedding” absolutely glow. It sounds like a snuggie feels and is perfect listening for this nasty New York weather.
