In March I entered the Worshipful Company of Dyers Award competition for the Bradford Textiles Society. The design had to be in repeat for fashion and could be applied to any base fabric.

Earlier in the month I did an acrylic painting of a rose bush, in a style which was inspired by Monet. I initially made it into a repeat design for wallpaper, however it seemed to work so perfectly as a print for a scarf that I entered it into the competition, and found out today that I came 3rd place! Waheyyy!
