Indish indie rockers Boyracer has been a vital ingredient of the English crashpop underground since 1989. Founder Stewart Anderson is still the driving force behind their upbeat material and with new member Christina Riley, who joined in 2019, riding shotgun on vocals and guitar, he has found yet another lease of life. The new single Bulletproof is an amalgam of pub and garage rock, a breath of fresh air that is very much needed in an era where everyone and their uncle is using autotune to mask the fact that they can't actually sing.
