If you’re a fan of SWAMP81, then you may already know Ashes57′s artwork, the fine illustration pieces in black and white, inspired by underground music. If you don’t, then this showcase of work at Boxpark is a great start for you to get familiar with her work. During the month of August, the exhibition is inspired by the sights and sounds of the urban jungle with intricate scenes of London, New York, Paris and many more, where DJs and music lovers lurk in every corner.
There’s an event on 7th August, free entry and will feature DJ sets by Klose One, Disco Dazed and a secret guest. We’ve heard there’s some complimentary drinks too!
