Bostonista Obsessions: Candy Colored Jackets

By Bostonista @thebostonista
One of the best (and worst) things about fashion week is that you get to see what will be the big trends months in advance. The downside is when you love a trend so much that you want it right away and these pieces wont be in stores until February at the earliest!
This fall, my big obsession for Spring 2013 comes in the form of bright, candy colored jackets. They were all over the New York runways and I expect they'll make a splash during the rest of fashion month too!  At least with the cooling temperatures this is one trend I'll be able to get a jumpstart on!

I'm seriously craving that magenta motorcycle jacket from 3.1 Phillip Lim but even when it hits stores I'm sure it will be a little bit out of my price range.
But, happily, there are many bright coats ready to be snapped up already!

I think the medium weight of BB Dakota's Rynn coat is perfect for the transitional weather of a New England fall while E&J's Sue Blazer is wool so you'll look stylish and keep warm in the office all winter. I love yellows in the winter because it brings the warmth of sunshine to a snowy day! Am I cheesy or what? But thats why I love the old Hollywood glamour of the heavy, fur collared coat from Dahlia.
