Borderlands and Brothers in Arms developer Gearbox Software will “probably” announce a PS4 and Xbox One game sometime this year.
Responding to fans on Twitter, Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford hinted at when we might learn what the studio has in the works.
“We’re working on next-gen. Platforms TBD. We’ll probably announce something later this year,” he said.
Gearbox is known to be working on a new Brothers in Arms game, and has said in the past that it has at least two new IPs in the works for next-gen. Borderlands 3 is not in the works at the moment.
