What I'm wearing: Rocky Top Boot (a gift from my brother)The new year has really started off with a bang, or shall I say, a snow ball right to the face. This week Chicago has racked up well over a foot of snow and endured sub zero temperatures, with more on the way (the high temperature predicted for Monday is -9!). From the comfort of your home, snow can be quite beautiful. But if you have any reason to step outside, you better buckle up and bundle up because it's sure to be a very cold and bumpy ride.
Chicago has always been my kind of town, but the snowy streets are an absolute war zone; I needed a tank just to drive down my street! And good luck finding a suitable (not to mention attractive) pair of shoes to wear, that won't be ruined from walking in the salty sludge. I say let's kick Mother Nature in the behind with some new snow boots, shall we?!
