It won't be long now til Boots and Hearts gives us their first artist announcement for the 2020 festival. It will be the ninth year for the country music fest, and we can't wait to find out who is going to be there to perform.
And because we're so excited, I've put together a list of 15 artists (in alphabetical order) that I think could be named to the 2020 lineup. As in past years, I won't be perfect in our predictions. But I do feel like I've hit some of these! Take a look at the list and leave a comment telling us who you want to see performing at Boots and Hearts next summer.
Ready? Here we go!
Black Mountain Whiskey Rebellion 🇨🇦🇺🇸These dudes are loud and rowdy and ready for a party. They would be a perfect fit at the Thursday night kick-off show, and we'd love to see it!

Brett Kissel 🇨🇦You all know his name, you know that he puts on a helluva show at festivals, and you know that he's played the biggest stages across the country. It's time to get him back to B&H.
Carrie Underwood 🇺🇸She's a headliner. She was a headliner in year 1 (2012) and she would make an excellent headliner again in 2020. Bring her in with Maddie and Tae from the Cry Pretty Tour 360 and we'll have a big sing along!
Chad Brownlee 🇨🇦Chad Brownlee has started a new chapter in his career. He's had big success with Forever's Gotta Start Somewhere and Dear Drunk Me both going gold - and it would be great to hear him play the new stuff and a couple of old favourites for the fans at Burl's Creek.
Dan Davidson 🇨🇦Dan is one of the most purely entertaining dudes in Canadian country music. Whether we're talking about live performances, music videos, albums or covers, he's in a groove and we'd love to see him bring that to Boots and Hearts. Add him to the Thursday night lineup and we can all have a party.
Danielle Bradbery 🇺🇸Unfortunately, Danielle Bradbery wasn't able to make it to the stage for her 2019 set, so it makes perfect sense that she'd try and get back in 2020 to get up on stage and play.
Emily Reid 🇨🇦From BC to Tennessee, Emily Reid has had an awesome journey. Now it's time for her to get to Boots and Hearts to play on the big stage. We want to hear Wine, Good Time Being A Woman and more live, and you should too.
Jade Eagleson 🇨🇦Jade was the 2017 winner of the Emerging Artist Showcase. Since then his star has continued to rise with songs like Got Your Name On It and Count The Ways and the 2019 CCMA Rising Star award. The Millbrook boy would be more than welcome back at the festival!
Jess Moskaluke 🇨🇦Jess Moskaluke has got new music on the way. And we love the music she's made in her career so far. So why wouldn't we want to see her back at Boots? She's done it before. She could do it again, and we think it's time.
Kelsea Ballerini 🇺🇸Kelsea Ballerini continues to kill it on the charts with her music. She continues to make new fans, to grow her brand and become a bigger star. But, we've never seen at Boots and Hearts and 2020 is the year that should change.
Little Big Town 🇺🇸We're still sad about Little Big Town cancelling their 2015 appearance and every year we hope they'll get on the list and play at the festival. These four artists are super talented, great entertainers, and we are ready to see them on the big stage.
Luke Combs 🇺🇸Make him a headliner and bring him north to make his first Boots and Hearts experience one that we won't forget and that the fans won't be able to get enough of!
Maddie and Tae 🇺🇸The duo have been to Boots before and we think they're a great fit to do it again. After their run on Carrie Underwood's Cry Pretty Tour, we think they can get back on the lineup and on the stage. Plus, we want to sing along to Friends Don't and Shut Up And Fish!
Riley Green 🇺🇸Riley Green is a rising star, he's a name that you're going to hear more and more of in the coming months, and we will not be surprised to see him named to the 2020 Boots and Hearts lineup.
Related: Riley Green - There Was This Girl Live in Toronto Robyn Ottolini 🇨🇦She's an emerging artist on the Ontario country music scene. She's an alumnus of the Emerging Artist Showcase. She's got new music on the way. And we think she'd be a great fit on the Front Porch Stage in 2020.
