Posted on the 21 January 2013 by Prepaidplans @prepaidplans

Boost Mobile will be going live with the Telstra network on 1 March 2013. At the moment it seems with the upgrade of their website that if you wish to take them up on their UNLTD plan you need to request a new sim pack which they are marketing as the Boost Golden Sim. boost mobile golden sim

The Boost Mobile Golden Sim comes with 5 days of UNTLD Talk, Text & MMS to standard national numbers + MessageBank® retrieval & 1800/1300 numbers as well as up to 500MB of data. Excludes talk/text to international, satellite, premium numbers, operator assisted calls, content charges and all use overseas. Included data is charged in per MB increments and will be rounded to the nearest MB at the end of each data session.

The sign up registration process is pretty simple.
You can order your Boost Mobile Golden SIM by entering some of your details online. Boost will then verify your identity with a temporary $1 transaction on your credit or debit card. This amount will be reimbursed shortly after.

After requesting your new Boost Mobile Golden SIM, you will receive confirmation by email and your order will be sent to you the first week of March, 2013. You need to make sure that you can access the Telstra Next G network, so check if your handset is compatible with the 850MHz frequency network.

Once you have your golden sim activated, you can then begin to recharge. Options include:

  • $40 – 30 days access, unlimited talk/TXT (as per above) and 3GB data
  • $20 – 15 days access, unlimited talk/TXT (as per above) and 1GB data
  • $10 – 5 days access,unlimited talk/TXT (as per above) and 500MB data
