Today's book is Mini Masters, dear friends.
It's a box set of four board books featuring four great painters: Degas, Matisse, Monet and Van Gogh.
Each book has a selection of paintings with a rhyming poem on each page.
I bought this back when Defne was one year old. We used to talk about pictures, point out the things, imitate the people in pictures (dancers and ballerinas) She still loves these books and brings us to read.
To be honest, I was a little bit dissappointed with the selection of the pictures. For example you will not find The Starry Night in the Van Gogh book. However the selection is beautiful and I lovehow these books introduce kids to art early and in an engaging way.
What have you been reading and enjoying with your children lately? I would love it if you come and share with us.
