If your children are like my daughter Defne, even the title of this book will get them giggling: 999 Tadpoles Find A New Home is a recent library find and we loved it.
The book is written by Ken Kimura and illustrated by Yasunari Murakami and published by Gecko Press.
"In spring, Mother Frog laid nine hundred and ninety-nine eggs in the little pond. One warm day, out hatched nine hundred and ninety-nine tadpoles."
As the tadpoles grow bigger and bigger, Mother and Father frog decide they need a new home. They find their new home after a dangerous and exciting adventure.
A heartwarming story that we have been enjoying at bedtime recently.
