My Thoughts:The feels...THE FEELS. That is the reason I LOVE Ellen Hopkins, I love her soooo much. This book gave me so many feelings, I just cannot explain how much I loved this book. Its basically the POV's of three different teenagers, Harley, Shane and Mikayla. There is a POV for a person they know at the end of every chapter, which I enjoyed. I love seeing things through a lot of people's eyes in a novel, is that weird? Another thing was the fact these different people didn't really know each other DIRECTLY as in, they weren't friends, but they knew each other's friends and stuff. Its confusing, but for example, Shane is Harley's cousin. Mikayla's sister is Harley's best friend. Shane's stoner friend is Harley's step-brother. It was all tied to one another and I liked that.Each of the three main characters have their own struggles to deal with and I won't say, but they are very, very intriguing to read about. It was written beautifully and a very fast read, don't let the thickness of the book scare you. Its all in poetry form and I was attached immediately. It was unique and unlike anything I've read recently. When I was finished, I was in awe.Thank you ELLEN HOPKINS!
