Book Review: This Is Not Your Story by Author Savi Sharma

By Shivalisingla

This Is Not Your Story is the second book by Author Savi Sharma, who recently launched her third book ‘Everyone Has a Story 2‘ which is the sequel to her first book ‘Everyone Has a Story‘. I have read her first book and I had loved reading it. So, I had to get my hands on her second book undoubtedly. So, here is what I think about the book:

Author: Savi Sharma

BOOK BLURB: This Is Not Your Story

Sometimes, you do not write your story, it writes you. You don’t choose your story, it chooses you.

But would you believe it if someone told you, ‘This is Not Your Story’? Would you have the courage to rewrite it?

Shaurya, a CA student. This is his story of following his dreams.

Miraya, an interior designer. This is her story of believing in love.

Anubhav, an aspiring entrepreneur. This is his story of giving life another chance.

After her record-breaking debut novel, Everyone Has A Story, Savi Sharma tells a transforming tale of courage, hope, and self-discovery.

BOOK REVIEW: This Is Not Your Story

This is not your story is an inspirational romantic read. I found this one quite better than her first book. She is one of the best selling authors in India and every reader has a lot of expectations from her and they all are fulfilled this time.

The title of the book doesn’t reveal much about the story, but it does tell you that you are going to get inspired. On the cover, you can find a boy and a girl standing on a railway station. Later when you go on with the book, you will find the significance of this cover which is pretty attractive and creative.

Moving on the story, the story revolves around four leading characters namely, Shaurya, Miraya, Anubhav, Kasturi.

Shaurya is a C.A student. He is very good in his academics and has cleared his C.P.T and I.P.C.C. Though he is great with his academics, his heart lies somewhere else. He is so keen about movies and aspires to be a director, but he gets no support from his family. He tries his best to convince his parents but fails in all his attempts.

Kasturi is a neighbor and secret lover of Shaurya. She listens to her hearts and is always there for her friend Shaurya and her cousin sister Miraya.

Miraya is an interior designer who suffers a lot in her love life and not much ready to fall again. She comes to her cousin’s home to come out of the haunting memories of her past and there in Jaipur, she finds a friend like Shaurya and someone who will bring her out of the trauma of her past and will love her like no one else can.

Anubhav is an aspiring entrepreneur who tastes success with his hard work and intelligence. But then he faces some tragedy which shatters him completely leaving him all alone and weak. He finds no purpose in his life and wants to end it.

What happens next? Read the book to know more.

The plot of the book is very finely designed and you won’t find any section boring or less interesting. The story is written really well and you will love it for sure.
