She’s baaaaack! :D

Book Review: TB Rants & Raves About The CompanionOne of our former reviewers for True Blood is back once again; reviewing The Sookie Stackhouse Companion book written by Charlaine Harris! Yay! Oh, how we’ve missed her reviews! *sighs*

The reviewer in question; is none other than TB Rants & Raves!

Here are a few highlights from her review, before you head on over there to read it!

WARNING: her review may contain spoilers for those who haven’t read it yet! Please read at your own risk!

Here are some of the highlights of what you’ll read;

I think the biggest thing that makes me believe that Sookie and Sam are not going to happen is Sookie’s inner dialog. Harris has crafted Sookie’s character so well, over the course of this series, that the reader knows how Sookie acts in certain situations. Simply put: Sookie is a one supe woman. If she were feeling an ounce of something other than friendship for Sam, she would be feeling guilt. But there was not a hint that she felt any such thing.

No guilt = no feelings.

The next thing that stood out to me was Sookie’s reaction to the neighbor’s hostility toward Sam’s family. Sookie is deeply worried about it but she doesn’t discuss her concerns with Sam. She does discuss them with Eric.

Conclusion

As I said at the beginning, I really enjoyed the Companion. I don’t know that I would recommend it to non-hardcore fans. But for those of us that live in anticipation of the first week in May, the Companion book is a must-read.

What are you waiting for?

Go on over there and find out what else she says about The Sookie Stackhouse Companion here!

Thanks TB Rants & Raves for a great review!
