Book Blurb
Moving to Chincoteague has been hard for Alison Grossbard and her younger brother Arnold. When Dad lost his job as a reporter in Baltimore after speaking out against the High Ones – big, blue starfish from space that now rule the Earth -- he was lucky to get a job at the local fusion plant. Sure, the High Ones brought wonderful technology -- tri-vees and interplanetary travel and nuclear fusion -- but the High Ones and their human flunkeys punish anyone who questions their rule, including teenagers like Alison and Arnold. With the help of Gloria, an alien who can bridge dimensions, and Jo, a girl from an alternate universe with real, live dragons, Arnold and Alison decide to fight. But the High Ones aren’t the only enemies. Can Arnold and Alison become Heroes of Earth without sacrificing themselves? My review:Aliens capturing the Earth, getting in touch with an alien and space travels have always fascinated me. I have a keen interest in the progress made in this world. So, whenever I see a book relating to aliens and outer space is a must read book for me.The story is filled with space travels, suspense and drama, which surrounds our protagonists Arnold and Alison, who live with their parents. As the story moves on Arnold, joins the so called terrorist group who voice against the High Ones, the alien race, to end their reign on earth. You can find yourself lost in the story once you start reading and the attack that is to follow on the government buildings in the midst of the night, with the anticipation of what will be the consequence of such attacks and the uncertainty that lie ahead.I had a great time reading the story but I have to accept it was a bit of confusing in the middle of what happened and how is it going to affect the latter half of the story, but clarified my doubts as I went on reading the story and soon caught with the pace of the story.Buy the book from Amazonhttp://www.amazon.com/Heroes-Earth-Martin-Berman-Gorvine/dp/1479405876/
