UPDATED MARCH 2011 – GAS VALVE CHANGED EARLY JANUARY – WORKING FINE NOW. PROBLEM – Lost Sleep… Our boiler fails to ignite first thing in the morning – I have to get up an hour earlier and fire it up each day – once its fired up its mostly fine and works as it should. It’s just first thing in the morning – this boiler just cant seem to get out of bed. I am fed up with getting up before the boiler does – especially over the Christmas period. Because the enginner could press the reset button a few times and it would work the boiler was not classed as faulty by the insurance company who wont authorise any new parts. The engineer suspects could be the gas valve… Engineer called today 30/12/10 confirmed problem and suspects its the LPG injectors. New set will be ordered and fitted but no idea how long this could take.
