An Uzbekistan Airways Dreamliner climbs out after departure from Narita Airport. Formed in 1992 following the dissolution of the Soviet Union, Uzbekistan Airways now operates a fleet of Western aircraft including six Dreamliners with three more on order. With a typical capacity of 220 passengers and a range of 7,355 nautical miles, the -8 is the base model of the 787 family and entered service in 2011. Over 1,100 Dreamliners have been delivered of the 1,900 on order.
