Boeing 777-300(ER), All Nippon Airways

By Htam

SFO, JA790A - Boeing 777-381(ER) - All Nippon Airways,

@ San Francisco, CA

January 2021

An ANA 777 departs from runway 10R during reverse operations at SFO, offering a view of takeoff and climbout instead of the usual final approach and touchdown seen from public locations.  Reverse operations are a weather-driven scenario where the airport traffic operates in a reverse flow due to changes in wind direction.  ANA operates 28 of these extended range -300s in their fleet.  The most common and successful variant of the Boeing 777 is the 777-300ER with 810 delivered and 34 orders.  Many airlines have acquired the -300ER as a 747-400 replacement amid rising fuel prices given its 20% fuel burn advantage. First flown in 1994, more than 1400 of these airliners have been produced making this the most-delivered wide-body airliner. Nikon D500 w/Tamron 150-600mm.
