Since 1988, Southwest Airlines has used a variety of uniquely painted Boeing 737s to garner publicity from customers and aviation enthusiasts.  One theme has been state flags, such as this 737 wearing the Maryland flag.  “Maryland One” was introduced to the fleet on June 14, 2005, as a tribute to the State of Maryland and the city of Baltimore.  Southwest was the launch customer for the -700 series and has almost 500 of them in their fleet.   NIkon D500 w/Tamron 150-600mm
