This Hawaiian 717 disgorges it’s passengers after a 45 minute flight from Honolulu.  Their B717s are named after local birds, in this case ‘Ewa Ewa (a Sooty Tern). Hawaiian operates 20 of these aircraft, servicing interisland travel.  The Boeing 717 airliner was designed and originally marketed by McDonnell Douglas as the MD-95, a derivative of the DC-9 family, prior to their 1997 merger.
