This Hawaiian 717 is almost done with passenger boarding, ready to fly to one of the neighbor islands.  Their B717s are named after local birds, in this case ‘Anianiau (a Hawaiian Honeycreeper). Hawaiian operates 20 of these aircraft, servicing interisland travel.  The Boeing 717 airliner was designed and originally marketed by McDonnell Douglas as the MD-95, a derivative of the DC-9 family, prior to their 1997 merger. Fuji XE-2s w/18-55mm.
