I’ve been on a mental holiday all week and now that the weekend is finally here I’m kicking off my shoes and planning to run around in the sand.
Every season seems to put me in the mood for a certain lifestyle and the brands I associate with them (good job respective marketing teams). Summertime for me is all about J.Crew and Pottery Barn living – all American style – and the 4th of July is a holiday that brings the dream on home. Here’s my current fantasy:
A 4th of July shin-dig on the water with my closest pals – complete with cold drinks, fresh finger food and fireworks.
In a cute little jumper that’s lightweight and a little floaty (because it’s hot and I intend to eat a lot). With my favorite red t-strap heels and straw hat I’m set. The shoes won’t be on for long, but I should look cute as the guests arrive right?
