Blue Disco Flames

Blue Disco Flames
Some serious disco heat from Magnetic Soul here: some funky disco business, with an impossibly catchy hook clipped straight from a Randy Crawford record. I cannot recommend this one enough. Yes, it's a vinyl-rip with plenty of crackling, and only at 160kbps; regardless, this one'll have you singing and stomping around the room like it's '72 (via Disco Delicious):
Magnetic Soul - Blue Flame [pelski highly recommends] {160 kbps} {buy}
The next two come courtesy of one of my favourite blogs Keytars & Violins. Two deep disco house cuts:
'Let', the fourth release on Italian label Pup, is a bootleg of 1994's 'Let Me Show You Love' by Romanthony - the famously soulful vocalist on Daft Punk's 'One More Time' and 'Too Long'. The edit removes the bouncy old school drum beat and replace it with some gentle claps and a dusty guitar line:
Gn - Let {198 kbps}
A jazzy, lulling deep houser, 'Goody Goody' jigs along with a funky bass line and plenty of tinkling piano keys and high hats. An edit of Vincent Montana Jr and Goody Goody's 1978 'It Looks Like Love':
KZA - Good Goody {320 kbps}
Just.one.duran's remake single of Loleatta Holloway's classic collaboration with Dan Hartman, 'Relight My Fire', was initially planned to appear on their upcoming self-titled EP, but in honour of Loleatta's recent passing decided to release the track as a free download. A steady house beat hits throughout but those swirling strings and seering vocals are left in tact. Laden with filters and faders, small builds and drops punctuate the remix:
Just.one.duran - Relight My Fire {320 kbps}
