Blue Agave FragranceBlue Agave Fragrance Oil – Fragrance Spotlight

Natures Garden Blue Agave Fragrance Oil has been described by our customers as a spa scent, a very strong and very fresh fragrance.  Fun fact, the Blue Agave is a prominent plant that is grown in the central part of Mexico.  The plant can take up to 7 years to fully develop and has been known to grow to be several feet tall.  Agave nectar is made only from the core of this plant.

What Does Blue Agave Fragrance Oil Smell Like?

Something amazing happens with this fragrance oil by Natures Garden, when Kaffir lime (a fruit that is native to temperate Asia including India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines) is combined with the fresh, green aroma of oakmoss.  The fragrance is a very uplifting and very fresh scent!  Natures Garden’s Blue Agave fragrance begins with top notes of Kaffir lime, lemon zests, apple, and black currant;  followed by middle notes of lily of the valley and rose petals;  sitting on base notes of oakmoss and white woods.

Top Notes:  Kaffir lime, lemon zests, apple, black currant
Mid Notes:  Lily of the valley, rose petals
Base Notes:  oakmoss, white woods

How Do Our Customers Use Blue Agave Fragrance Oil?

Blue Agave Fragrance Oil has been described by one of our homemade soap crafting customers as a “very well behaved fragrance oil with an aquatic, slightly herbaceous fragrance with a few delicate, white floral notes”.   The maximum usage rate is 5% for your handmade bath and body products such as bath oils, soaps, bath gels, lotions and perfumes.  Cold process soap testing results show a very clean fragrance with perfect pour.  There was no separation, ricing, or acceleration.  The vanillin content is 0% and as a result, no discoloration.   A suggestion for coloring, use teal soap colorant in the amount that makes you happy.  Candle dye is never to be used in any bath and body products.  This clean, fresh fragrance performs perfectly in perfumes and performs well in bath and body products.  This scent would be great as a body lotion, click on this link and use Natures Garden’s very own Tropical Lotion recipe to create your very own lotion.

The maximum usage for candle making is 10%.  Blue Agave Fragrance Oil is nice and strong in soy wax and performs perfectly in wow wax and joy wax.  For a magnificent color, we suggest 2 drops of teal liquid candle dye per 4 pounds of wax or shred a small amount of a teal color block into your melted wax.  As crayons will clog your wick, we recommend never using them to color your candles.

General home uses, the maximum usage will vary.  For cleaning purposes, the maximum usage is 5% and for diffusers, potpourri, and incense the maximum usage is 50%.
