I saw a chance to write a guest post on Laura's great blog and decided to write about a few things that I like most about winter (in no particular order).
I must admit I'm not really a fan of winter. I'm a summer kind of girl. I hate being cold. But living in the UK where winter seems to be our main season has made me find things I do enjoy about this freezing cold season.
1. Knitwear.I love knitwear. I can never have enough. I love how soft and comfortable it is and warm it keeps you. And they go with anything. Can wear it with jeans and leggings or can wear it with skirts and dresses.
2. BootsI can never have enough pair of boots. And I love the different styles: riding, biker, military, ankle, knee-high, over the knee etc. I basically own them all. I'm normally always in skinny jeans so they go perfectly with them.
3. Staying insideCall me boring but sometimes I love my own company. Nothing beats staying in my room (avoiding my uni work or going to the gym) with a scented candle, doing my nails, listening to music, reading a book, watching tv or blogging ;) . The cold weather is a perfect excuse to stay in and I've found it's also a great way to save money!
4. SnowWhen we do eventually get it, and it falls properly and thick I love it. Not only do we get a day off school and uni but I think it looks really pretty. When it snows, I kind of forget about the cold. And of course, who doesn't love a good snowball fight?
5. ChristmasLast but definitely not least CHRISTMAS!!! What's winter without Christmas?! It's just a great season. Spending time with family and friends.It's also a great chance to eat as much rubbish as possible and not feel bad about it...And I love the Christmas movies and episodes on tv.
