It's December 23rd and while I am so excited for Christmas, today is such a bittersweet day. A close friend of mine passed away in November and his 39th birthday would have been today, I really miss him greatly and just wanted to acknowledge him and what a fantastic person he was. I'm really thinking of his family today.
Moving on to some festive cheer...
Today is also my cousins birthday (happy birthday!) and so my sister & Dad are off to visit her with a gift while we all clean the house top to toe and wrap some presents. I always love sticking on a Christmas film or music while I wrap or clean, it just really helps to keep me in a happy mood when I'm feeling a little down.
My cats are of course loving the fact that there are boxes and bows to play with. Who needs the nice expensive toys Holly buys them to keep them happy? Cardboard boxes are so much more fun!
