Blogmas Day 2 - My Festive Playlist

It's officially December which means it is socially acceptable to drink mulled wine, wear a Christmas jumper and listen to a festive playlist.
Each year I change up which songs make it onto my festive playlist and like to mix it up between the classics and the contemporary ones.
Here are the top 10 songs making it onto my Festive playlist!
1 - Kelly Clarkson - Underneath The Tree 
I love this song! It's upbeat and reminds me of being at the Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting in 2013 where she sang this. Ahh memories.
2 - Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas - Frank Sinatra
The oldies are always the best and this song reminds me of my Nana & Papa and my Granny & Grandpa. Sadly, some of them are not with us anymore but the memories of bygone Christmasses will always remain and this song is a firm favorite of them.
3 - Wizzard - I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday
This song reminds me of when I was a bairn (Scottish word for a Child. Keep up..) and dancing in our front room with my sisters. It's a Christmas party essential!
4 - Shakin' Stevens - Merry Christmas Everyone
Again, a definite reminder of dancing in my front room with my sisters but  also remember having this on cassette and making my dad rewind it back to the start so we could listen to it over and over again in the car.
5 - Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You
This song is just a classic! My sisters and I literally just belt this out at full volume every time we hear it. That high note though...
6 - Santa's A Scotsman
You've probably never heard of this. I'm not even sure of the band who made this but it's freaking amazing, Being Scottish, I can relate with everything they say and because we have an amazing sense of humor (and are obviously quite modest haha)
7 - Michael Buble - Santa Claus Is Coming To Town
Michael Buble is a modern day crooner and has a voice like butter (and a face like GOD... *swoon*).  Santa Claus is coming to town is one of my favorite songs and I love that everyone turns into a big kid when they hear it.
8 - Leona Lewis - One More Sleep
Leona always releases big ballads but this song is uptempo and really gets you in the mood for Christmas. I love the video equally as much as the song itself!
9 - Bing Crosby - White Christmas
It's such a simple song but it's one that just grabs me by the heart strings. I love Bing, I love Christmas, I love Snow (when I'm not in it...) and I freaking love this song,
10 - The Pogues - Fairytale Of New York
Do I even need to explain why I love this? All together now "You're a bum, you're a drunk..."
