New York is a busy darn place, especially at this time of year which made it nearly impossible to take outfit pictures while I was there - however I did manage to sneak a few in that I thought you would love to see. I have a few more pieces I took with me so will include them in another post soon :)
This coat is from Asos Curve and it is a showstopper. I was asked on several occasions where it was from and I loooooved it. This has a detachable faux fur collar which I took off sometimes because it was raining. The coat is warm and comfortable to wear, it is oversized and has two large buttons to the front to fasten.
I am also wearing a Yours Clothing maxi dress teamed with boots from Simply be and the Zara City Bag.
I am pictured in front of the beautiful Christmas Tree in the Roosevelt Hotel (where we stayed) and it was literally gorgeous. It was the perfect backdrop for this outfit.
This outfit is top to toe Simply Be and again, is taken at the Roosevelt Hotel in NYC. The dress is a little on the short side for me but teamed with 100 denier tights and knee high suede boots (from Leg room at simply be), this looks amazing. The dress is a burgundy color with a black collar. It has short sleeves which are actually a flattering length.
The hat is from New Look and was a pain in the ass. If it blew off once, it blew off a hundred times. Just sayin'.
This was taken in front of the giant red baubles near Bryant Park (I think) and is such a gorgeous backdrop. This place was utterly mobbed, my sisters stopped about a hundred people from walking in front of me to take this picture. It resulted in loads of people standing watching whilst some people even asked if I was Adele (Every day I was stopped and asked if I was Adele - I don't see it!).
I'm wearing this coatigan from Simply Be and has a gold zip right along the midlengths of it. It was warm to wear and went with literally every outfit I wore so this was a godsend.
I am also wearing this sheer black top from Taking Shape which has a dipped hem and buttons down the front (you can't really see them in the pic, sorry!). The top also has 3/4 length chiffon sleeves which are really flattering.
I teamed this with black leggings from Simply Be, over knee boots (Leg Room at Simply Be) and my Zara City Bag.
I have a lot more fashion posts coming your way so be sure to come back for more :)
