And welcome to day 11 of blogmas and today I have a nail polish review. These are the Collection Hot Looks 60 seconds nail polish. I seem to have an unhealthy obsession with nail polishes at the moment and the 3 for 2 offers are not helping!
I love the colours, and I loved the idea of them drying in 60 seconds. Collection products are not too expensive these were £1.99 and in 3 for 2.
'Go Retro'- a gorgeous purpleFor such a cheap price I'm not expecting anything special from them. They are gorgeous colours and look okay after two coats but three coats looks a little bit better, brings out their true colours!
'Show Off'- slightly shimmery bright blueI bought them mainly to test the 60 seconds, and yes I would say they are touch dry but will still dent and chip until fully dry 30-60 mins depending on number of coats. The other thing with it drying quick is that it becomes sticky on your nails and quite difficult to build up the layers.
'Midnight'- A dark blue, almost black, my favorite of the three for winterI feel like I'm criticising these quite a bit, but I am just giving my honest opinion. They chip really quickly, mine lasted two days and I wasn't doing any 'hands on' activities that would usually cause chips and so I was a little disappointed in them. I would give them 3/10 ... sorry collection.Laura x
