It's December 1st 2014, and all through Holly's house, is Christmas cheer! OH YEAH!
Christmas has officially landed in the HBB household and I couldn't be happier.
Ever since I was a wee one, my family always made a big deal out of decorating our Christmas Tree together. We always have a little buffet dinner and a glass of something festive while we listened to our favorite Christmas music and my Dad went hunting in "the cupboard under the stairs" to get the decorations.
I might be 28, but a girl is never too old to celebrate Christmas, so we did all of the above as always and we made ourselves up some eggnog (recipe and how to tutorial coming tomorrow). We had so much fun and on Saturday we spent the day outside stringing up Fairy lights and making sure the electricals were all water tight (it's amazing how handy a Greenhouse and some black bags are when it comes to running cables!)
On Sunday I spent the day with my family feeling all Christmassy and happy. I got my fluffy socks on, lit a few candles and did some Internet shopping before catching up on the XFactor.Today (Monday) is a bit of a laptop day because I have so much blogging and vlogging to do but I am also in the process of writing up tomorrows Blogmas post which is an Egg Nog tutorial like I mentioned above.
I am also contemplating doing a little food shop and getting some coloured icing and fancy bits n bobs for some Christmas cookies that I'm hoping to bake but if you've been reading my blog for a while and know me at all, you will know I am far from a Culinary Goddess, so I will be sure to photograph the whole sorry event.
