Just in time for the winter weather the Bliss Spa gift set, A-Bright-Face is available! Sent to me for review, I was excited to try out the products as my skin has been needing some extra help lately. The gift set (which is available at both Ulta and Kohl's) comes with an exfoliating face wash, a vitamin c day cream, and a set of glycolic mini peels. It retails for $49 (but is a $95 value).
The face wash is fresh smelling, and if you are familiar with Bliss products, you will already know that a little bit of product goes a long way. While it does lather, it isn't a thick foamy wash. There are exfoliating crystals that dissolve while in use, and I love how well it removes both my makeup and sunscreen at the end of the day. It doesn't leave my face tight (like so many exfoliates can easily do), and my skin feels baby smooth.
The triple oxygen vitamin c moisturizing cream is light, brightens dark spots, and absorbs quickly into the skin leaving it soft and supple. The directions say to rub the product into the skin for 30 seconds to increase circulation, but to be honest I haven't found that possible; it simply absorbs too quickly for me to massage my skin that long! It lays nicely under my makeup as well. I have sensitive skin that will break out if I so much as look at the wrong product, and after two weeks of use I haven't had any adverse effects. What I love is how moisturizing this is - which for me is surprising considering how feather-light it is. Moisture is key for the winter months, and this works wonderfully!
The set of 5 glycolic resurfacing pads mini-peels are to be used for 5 consecutive days according to the directions. I use these at night, as to delay my skin's exposure to the sun as much as possible. When using this product, please remember to always use sunscreen! Using products such as these but forgetting to apply sunscreen will actually cause more damage to your skin than making it healthier. That being said, this is a wonderful mini-peel set and will prime your skin to absorb moisturizing products at a better rate. I woke up to a wonderful glow; the mild glycolic peel combined with the gentle exfoliation of the face wash makes for an excellent combo.
Overall this set is really what I look for, and demand of my skincare; anti-aging, brightening, and moisturizing. I love to keep my skin looking healthy and to have a natural, even glow and this set really hits all the points!
