BLINDED TO OUR OWN FAULTS: SPIRITUAL GROWTH TO Prepare YOU For HEALTHY Relationships!

By Themilkaint4free @prospermuch

Sometimes, we can be blinded to our own faults, especially, if deep down inside, we believe the person deserves the treatment that we are giving.  When pain from a broken relationship with a significant other, parents, or friends is not healed, it can harden your heart and blind your vision.
For many, it is difficult to hear what is wrong about them.  Who doesn't like a sincere compliment! However it takes both water and rain along with the tilling of the land to produce much fruit.  In the same way, we as Women after God's own heart must also be humble enough to receive constructive criticism.  Sometimes, the feedback from a person comes during a disagreement and can make it even harder to swallow, even if it's the truth.

I admonish you my dear sister in your quiet time with God to seek if what was said is true, and if so, surrender to God and begin to purposefully work on transformation.  Keep in mind that we will do what we can do (praying, reading the word, and biblical confessions), and GOD will do the rest through embedding change in our souls.
Let's just meditate on this for today.  Think back to a time that someone made an observation about you, and ask God, Is there any area that I still need to surrender.
PRAYER:  Lord, I am so willing to give it all to you in the name of Yeshua (Christ Jesus)...make me "Brand New!"
