With Grimes and Bleachers in tow, “Entropy” is a force to be reckoned with. Taken from the upcoming Girls, Vol. 3 soundtrack, the song showcases Bleachers’ production and Grimes’ always unique, bird-like voice. An electric guitar riff flows throughout, with a slight use of Antonoff’s signature drum machine beats. The singularity of Grimes as an artist and the ‘80s high school vibe of Antonoff combine to form something unexpected and fluid — a deviation from their predictable musical styles. This marks their second collaboration since “Take Me Away” on Bleachers’ freshman album Strange Desire.
