Verdict on Birdeater
Recap
The movie follows Louie inviting his fiancée to his bachelor party. However, things spiral out of control as the past comes to light. It tests people feelings and leaves them wondering if they want to move forward with their lives together.
Best Parts
The idea of a party away from the world and secrets coming out is interesting. We know how bachelor parties can spiral out of control.
Worst Parts
The might be the most dysfunctional group of friends I have ever seen, none of them feel like they have ever spent time with each other. It falls into the biggest extremes of drinks and drugs getting out of control, rather than anything feeling connected. The performances are not that strong is it mostly just yelling at each other.
Final Thoughts –Birdeater is a lot of yelling without much happening around it.
