I've been re-watching Season Three of
Game of Thrones in preparation for Season Four. I've already read
A Storm of Swords (the show creator's broke author George R.R. Martin's novel into two seasons), so I won't spoil things for anyone, but suffice it to say that as shocking as last season's the Red Wedding was, there is still more in store for the denizens of Westeros and beyond. Much of the season seems d to be about interesting pairings. Only poor Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) always seemed to end up alone. Until Sunday, here are some images from Season Three that made an impact.
Sam goes up against a White Walker
My favorite couple of the season (and maybe the books as well) Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Brienne (Gwendoline Christie)
A close second — Arya (Maisie Williams) and The Hound (Rory McCann)
This is more of a threesome — Maergery (Natalie Dormer), Joffrey (Jack Gleeson) and his crossbow
Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) and her favorite son
Brienne and an angry bear
Ygritte (Rose Leslie) and Jon Snow (Kit Harington) on The Wall
Tyrion, alone and bewildered
