Big data and Infographics made simple
You may have heard the phrases ‘Infographic’ and ‘Big Data’ banded about a lot recently, but perhaps you have never considered making your own information graphic?
Visually is a service that allows anyone to tell rich, graphical stories with their data. You can start really easily by adding your Facebook account to generate an instant (and we do mean INSTANT) Infographic.
When using Visually for research purposes one thing to remember is that just because everything looks so fantastic, don’t be fooled into thinking that all of the data is approved by scientists! It’s best thinking of the Visually archive as a Wikipedia of Infographics, and if you do want to use any of the material we suggest that you verify sources in the usual way, before using them in your presentations.
