Notice anything different? I'm so excited to finally be able to share the completely re-designed Bostonista with you! Didn't Jessica of Creative Index do an amazing job?
I had been looking for a graphic designer for months to help me upgrade the blog but everyone I spoke to was either completely outside of my budget or just didn't seem to understand the feel that I was going for. Enter Jessica!
I honestly don't remember how I stumbled across Creative Index (I feel like Pinterest probably had something to do with it) but as I read her blog and explored her portfolio, I had a feeling that she'd be able to nail the look I wanted. And I was right!
After a lot of conversation about what I love (and do not love) about my favorite blogs around the web and questions about what inspires me, we decided that I wanted something simple but girly. When Jess sent me the mood board for the design, I knew I'd might the right decision hiring her!
Big Changes!
The board perfectly evoked my sense of style and the textures and colors that I wanted here. From there, Jess designed two basic options that were beautiful but that I felt needed a little bit more. With the third design (yes, she's super patient and flexible), it all came together. Even when I'd change my mind about something, or ask about adding something, or had questions, Jess always answered them promptly and patiently. She really just wanted me to completely love the design and I really, really do!
The fact that she did all this well within my budget (including installing, creating the new logo/header, and so much more) and in a timely manner was just the cherry on top! Even my social media pages all match now thanks to Creative Index. Plus, I know she's happy to help me in the future with tweaks, problems and questions.
I think we really hit the nail on the head with the finished design! It feels fresh and authentically me...which is really the whole point, isn't it?
