Big Block 454: Live at Salford Centric, May 2002

Posted on the 22 June 2016 by Hctf @hctf

In May 2002 avant-garde trio Big Block 454 drove to Salford to perform at the Salford Arts Collective Event at St.Philip's Church. Various bands played to short silent movies that were shown on three screens. Les Howarth (Real Times Images) was on hand to film the proceedings.

Colin Robinson (fretless bass, drum machine), Pete Scullion (guitar), Liam Robinson (guitar) were followed around Salford, setting up their gear and performing. The band had all but forgotten about this footage. Colin Robinson stumbled upon a DVD. He did some editing and is now sharing it on his YouTube channel.

Here's the An Evening at Blank Frank's Bun Factory film they were playing to.
