The only finishing touch missing from this outfit is a “twitchy” nose {and a little red lipstick}. Wouldn’t you agree?
If you loved Bewitched back in the day like I did, then you know exactly where I’m coming from. When I saw this gorgeous geometric shift dress I instantly thought Samantha Stevens. Samantha Stevens was a blonde bombshell from the 60s sitcom. In my opinion, Bewitched was the first supernatural TV phenomenon {bow down Vampire Diaries}.
Patterned Shift Dress
This look is totally whimsical and exciting. The bright turquoise and ivory print makes it an eye-catcher. It’s slip on personality. 60s flair and three-quarter sleeves makes it the perfect catch for the hot summer months.
A Wedge With Edge
The laced up wedges add an even more modern twist on the classic shift dress. Let’s see. It’s a wedge. It’s a 4 inch platform. It’s a peep toe. It’s laced. And it’s a cutout. It’s a carnival of designs when you think about it {and write it}. But when you see it, it just works!
Not Vampire Red, But Red
Are you kidding me? Can you imagine it? A true red lipstick like Electra by NYX Cosmetics ($4) against this sea-green, turquoise shade. Definitely a match in heaven that has the potential of being truly magical {nose twitch}.
The Perfect Do

I’d also add an equally whimsical satin head scarf depending on how I’m feeling. I love mixing and matching prints so I’d go with something unexpected to really keep the outfit fun. Or I would pair it with one of those perfect up-dos – you know the ones that Carrie Underwood usually wears. Doing a hairstyle like this would up-the-class on this already classy outfit by making it an after 5 option.
