Better Skin With Flax Seed Oil Cleansing

By Girlratesworld @girlratesworld

oil facial cleansing rocks!

I am a huge supporter of using oils for facial cleansing. I’ve posted about the oil cleansing method (OCM) in older posts on this blog. But, in a nutshell, OCM is all about using natural oils instead of soap to cleanse your face. Using an oil over a soap-based cleanser provides more benefit to your skin and eliminates harsh and unnecessary ingredients. Ingredients which can cause more harm than good — including aging us faster!

You can oil cleanse with just about any oil on the market: olive oil, avocado oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, castor oil. This brings me to today’s topic – using flax seed oil.

This flax seed facial cleansing oil is from 100% Pure – an 100% vegan and organic makeup and cosmetics company.

what does it do?

Flax seed facial cleansing oil is ultra moisturizing. The facial cleansing oil restores, softens and soothes while gently removing makeup and other impurities with water.

what’s in it?

Flax Seed Oil is overloaded with Omega 3, 6 and 9 essential fatty acids, B vitamins and zinc which are highly beneficial for all skin types. It is even gentle enough for sensitive skin or skin affected with eczema or psoriasis. Not to mention the detoxing herbs and essential oil purify skin even further.

how to use it?

Pump the flax seed facial cleansing oil out onto hands and gently massage onto skin for about 2 to 3 minutes. Close ur eyes to remove stuck on makeup and built up impurities (or gunk). Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

add it to your diet

Using a cleanser infused with flax seed oil can be beneficial in many, many ways. It can help eliminate acne, prevents psoriasis and combat eczema. Flax seed oil is also pretty popular for reducing clog pores which leads to unbearable breakouts and dreadful acne scars. So if not in your skin care, be sure to add it to your diet by drizzling over fruits and salads or taking a supplement.

Have you tried the oil cleansing method (OCM)? What were your results? Be sure to tell me all about it in the comments below!
