Best Homemade Bleach For Face

Pollution, stress and age take a toll on women’s skin and face over a period of time. Generally, women turn over to the counter serums, lotions, and creams

If you have a mild or moderate hyperpigmentation problem, then you can try some few DIY remedies that can be home.

One of the treatments usually used to treat and polish dull, tanned and damaged skin has been bleaching. However, the bleach treatments women often go through in salons and parlors include harsh chemicals which may damage the skin in the long term.

Hence, natural bleach recipes are the way to go. There are many ways to bleach your skin at your home with natural ingredients.  However, this recipe is one of the best available and can be used regularly. Not only does the DIY bleach help eliminate grime and dirt from skin, but it also contributes to lighten skin tone if you use it regularly.

Ingredients Need for Natural Bleach

  • Mint Leaves: (1/4 cup of fresh mint leaves)

One of the important ingredients found in this DIY facial bleach is mint leaves. Many cosmetic products use mint because it offers excellent skin lighting and brightening properties.

Skip the high price tag of in-store products and make your bleaching remedy with mint leaves. Just make sure that you don’t use wilted mint leaves since they won’t provide the results you want.

  • Yogurt or curd: (2 tbsp of yogurt or curd (whole fat/unflavored))

Another great ingredient for DIY facial bleach is yogurt. The yogurt helps to condition your skin and reduces any burning that comes with using the bleach.

You may still feel a slight burning sensation, but it will go away quickly. When you choose yogurt for your bleach, make sure you choose unflavored, organic yogurt.

Note: If you use wilted mint leaves, there will be no effect in the skin and there will be no burning sensation too. If you are using store-bought yogurt, try to buy the organic, unflavored one.

Precautions for people with sensitive skin:

  • If your skin is sensitive, this DIY facial bleach may not be for you. When you use this mixture, you will find that it stings and burns a bit. However, it does provide the great results you want with all-natural ingredients.

How to make the Natural bleach?

  • Take a fresh yogurt and hang it in a cloth to remove the moisture. If you can, use a double layered strainer to drain the water.
  • Grab the fresh mint leaves and wash it well to remove the mud. Crush the mint leaves using a pestle and mortar and add the hung yogurt to get a smooth paste.
  • Apply the mixture on your skin, keep it on for about 20 minutes. Wash it off with cold water. Continue the lightening treatment for 15 days or until you see results.

Wasn’t that really easy with everyday ingredients that we all have at our home? Stop shelling out big bucks on salon treatments and go natural with this home-made bleach treatment.
